In-Network Insurance Plans

Washington Patients

Insurance & Self-Pay

Ayr Mental Health currently accepts select in-network insurance plans through Headway for Washington patients. Participation varies by plan and may change over time.

  • Regence BlueShield of Washington

  • Aetna

  • Carelon Behavioral Health

Please note: Coverage, benefits, and out-of-pocket costs vary by plan. Please confirm your benefits directly with your insurance company before your appointment. Participation does not guarantee coverage or payment; your plan determines your eligibility, benefits, and patient responsibility.

Regence BlueShield serves select counties in Washington and is an Independent Licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association.

If your insurance plan includes out-of-network (OON) benefits, you may be able to receive reimbursement for a portion of your care.

Arizona Patients

Self-Pay

In-network insurance credentialing in Arizona is pending.

Ayr Mental Health currently offers self-pay care to patients located in Arizona. If your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement. See Out-of-Network Benefits for details.

Medicare: Ayr Mental Health’s provider has opted out of Medicare. Patients with Medicare who choose to receive care must sign a Medicare private contract and pay directly. Medicare will not reimburse services covered by that contract.

Medicaid: Ayr Mental Health PLLC does not participate in Medicaid. Superbills may not be submitted to Medicaid for reimbursement.

Maximizing Your Out-of-Network Benefits

Washington & Arizona

If Ayr Mental Health is not in-network with your insurance plan, you may still be able to use your OON mental health benefits and seek reimbursement for eligible services.

Before beginning care, contact your insurance company to understand your OON benefits, reimbursement requirements, and coverage details. It can help to ask:

  • Do I have OON outpatient mental health benefits?

  • What is my OON deductible, and have I met it?

  • What percentage is reimbursed per session?

  • How do I submit a claim?

Using OON benefits works like this:

Pay at the time of your appointment.
You will pay the standard self-pay rate for your scheduled service.

Receive a superbill.
Upon request, Ayr Mental Health will provide a superbill containing the diagnostic and billing information your insurance company requires to process an OON claim.

Submit your claim.
You may submit your superbill directly to your insurance company or use a service such as Reimbursify to help organize and track your reimbursement request.

Please note: Reimbursement depends on your individual insurance plan and is not guaranteed. Insurance companies typically require a formal mental health diagnosis and service information to process claims. Contact your insurance company to understand your OON benefits before beginning care.

If maintaining the greatest level of privacy is important to you, choosing not to submit claims to insurance and paying privately may provide additional privacy because your care is not submitted through the insurance claims process.

Self-Pay Reimbursement

If you choose self-pay and your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be able to seek reimbursement. Ayr can provide a superbill upon request. Reimbursify is an optional third-party service that can help you submit and track claims.
