Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 20, 2026

Important: This Privacy Policy applies to the Ayr Mental Health PLLC website only. It does not govern Protected Health Information (PHI) that we maintain as part of providing healthcare services. PHI is governed separately by our Notice of Privacy Practices. If you are an established or prospective patient and have questions about how we handle your health information in connection with your care, please review our Notice of Privacy Practices.

‍1. About This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Ayr Mental Health PLLC ("Ayr Mental Health," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information through our website, ayrmentalhealth.com (the "Site"). Ayr Mental Health PLLC is a professional limited liability company licensed to provide psychiatric mental health services.

This Policy applies only to information collected through the Site itself. It does not apply to information you provide through our separate scheduling, electronic health record (EHR), patient portal, billing, or other healthcare platforms used after you choose to begin the intake or care process. Information collected and maintained through those platforms is governed by the applicable privacy practices and, where applicable, our Notice of Privacy Practices.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly
If you voluntarily submit information through a contact form on our Site, we may collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.

Information submitted through our forms may be stored within Squarespace Contacts and used to receive, track, and respond to your inquiry.

Please do not submit medical, psychiatric, medication, insurance, or other sensitive health information through the website contact form. The contact form is intended for general inquiries and initial communication, not for clinical care or the transmission of sensitive health information.

Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, certain information may be collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies. Depending on your cookie preferences, this may include information such as your device and browser type, pages viewed, general website usage information, referring website or source, and certain technical information associated with your visit.

Squarespace: The Site is hosted on the Squarespace platform. Squarespace collects personal information when you visit the Site, including information about your browser, network and device; web pages you visited prior to coming to the Site; web pages you view while on the Site; and your IP address. Squarespace needs this data to run the Site and to protect and improve its platform and services. You can read more about how Squarespace uses your data for its own purposes in its Privacy Policy.

Squarespace Analytics: The Site collects certain information to provide Squarespace Analytics, including information about your browser, network, and device, web pages you visited prior to coming to the Site, and your IP address. This information may also include details about your use of the Site, such as clicks, internal links, pages visited, scrolling, searches, and timestamps. Squarespace uses this information to help us understand site traffic and activity.

Cookies and Consent: Our Site uses a cookie banner that allows visitors to manage their preferences regarding non-essential cookies. Non-essential cookies, including analytics cookies, are restricted unless you provide the applicable consent through our cookie banner.

Google Fonts: The Site may use Google Fonts to display certain fonts. When fonts are loaded from Google, Google may receive technical information associated with your visit, such as your IP address, browser, network, device, and information about the page being viewed. You can learn more about Google's privacy practices through Google's privacy information.

Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect Through the Site
The Site is not intended to collect or transmit PHI for purposes of providing healthcare services. We do not use the Site's contact form as a clinical intake, patient portal, or method for communicating about ongoing care.

If you voluntarily include health information in a website message despite these instructions, we will handle that information according to our applicable privacy and security obligations. For healthcare-related communications, please use the secure platform provided to you rather than the public website.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information collected through the Site to:

  • Respond to questions or general inquiries submitted through our contact forms

  • Communicate with individuals who contact us about our services

  • Understand how visitors use our Site and improve its content, organization, and functionality

  • Monitor and maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site

  • Comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements

‍We do not use information collected through the Site to provide targeted or personalized advertising, and we do not use it to create advertising profiles.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell information collected through our Site, and we do not share it for targeted advertising or advertising purposes.

We may disclose information collected through the Site to service providers that help us operate and maintain the Site or provide related technical services. These include: Squarespace – website hosting and website platform, and Google Fonts – display of certain website fonts.

We also use two healthcare platforms that you reach through links on our Site: PracticeQ – appointment scheduling, intake forms, and our patient portal, and Spruce – secure messaging with patients and other healthcare providers. PracticeQ and Spruce are separate from this Site, so anything you submit through them falls outside this Privacy Policy. Each company's own privacy policy applies, and once you become a patient, so does our Notice of Privacy Practices.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small files or pieces of text that may be stored on your device when you visit a website. Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies for essential website functionality and, when permitted by your preferences, for analytics and other non-essential purposes.

Necessary and essential cookies are used to allow Squarespace, our hosting platform, to securely operate and serve the Site. These cookies are required for certain Site functions and cannot be disabled through our cookie banner.

Analytics and performance cookies may be used to understand Site traffic, activity, and other website usage information. These non-essential cookies are restricted unless you provide the applicable consent through our cookie banner.

Our Site displays a cookie banner that allows visitors to accept all cookies, manage their cookie preferences, or decline non-essential cookies. You may also control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling or restricting certain cookies may affect some Site functionality.

6. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You may choose whether to provide information through our website contact form. You may also choose whether to allow non-essential cookies through our cookie banner and may change your cookie preferences through the available cookie-preference controls.

If you have submitted information through our website contact form, you may contact us to ask about the information we maintain about you or to request deletion of information submitted through the contact form, subject to applicable legal, regulatory, security, and record-retention requirements.

Certain Washington residents may also have additional rights regarding consumer health data under Washington's My Health My Data Act. Those rights and the procedures for exercising them are addressed separately in our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. Nothing in this Privacy Policy limits rights that may be available to you under applicable privacy laws.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information collected through our Site. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to or stored through the Site. If we become aware of unauthorized access to information collected through the Site that requires notification under applicable law, we will provide notice as required by law.

8. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites and services, including secure scheduling, patient portal, EHR, billing, pharmacy, laboratory, or other healthcare-related platforms.

‍Once you leave our Site or access a third-party platform, that third party's privacy policy and terms govern your use of that service. We do not control the privacy practices of third-party websites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of any third-party service before submitting information.

9. How Long We Keep Information

We keep information you submit through our website forms only as long as reasonably needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain a record of our communication, unless a longer period is required by law. You may ask us to delete your website inquiry at any time by emailing hello@ayrmentalhealth.com.
